I've divided my photos into the nine categories listed in the menu. They're also represented by the above icons. For the most part, they should be pretty self-explanatory.

The aquaria photos were originally just going to go in the critters and botanical sections, but aquarium photography definitely requires its own technique. It's an interesting mix of macro and hand-held shooting of (mostly) moving subjects. Flash must be mounted off-camera so it doesn't bounce off the glass and back into the lens. And focusing is established through glass and through water. It's also currently my favourite subject to shoot.

The miscellaneous section will house all photos that don't really fit into the other categories, and don't warrant a category of their own (for example the occasional photo of a car or an interesting store sign).
